Kalyna & Phil

September 22, 2018

Kalyna & Phil celebrated their love and commitment for a lifetime at Liberty Ridge Farm! Kalyna & Phil said “I Do” surrounded by family and friends at the riverside ceremony site, beneath a white birch arbor beautifully draped with white fabric and decorated with red flowers in rustic watering cans.

The Reception

Kalyna & Phil bumped up their cocktail hour hors d’oveurves with passed Buffalo Wontons and Mini Crab Cakes. Guests enjoyed Corn Hole, lawn games and an outdoor fire pit (used later on for roasting marshmallows!).

Wedding guests were greeted by the Quincy Room, elegantly decorated with rustic greenery, as they entered for dinner & dancing. Trailing vines of Eucalyptus were draped atop vintage lace runners on the Farm’s Cherry Harvest tables. Flickering candles illuminated the room and added a shimmer to glass flutes awaiting the cheers of the Champagne toast.

Guests received mini jars of honey from local favorite Saratoga Tea & Honey Co. as favors. The jars were displayed in front of a sign that said “Meant to Bee” (which we LOVED extra because it tied right in with the “All About Bees” Corn Maze!).

Dinner began with warm rolls & a garden tossed salad with house Balsamic. Chicken halves were fired up in the Farm’s smoker and served buffet style alongside seared salmon fillets, garlic mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables.

After dinner, Kalyna & Phil played the “Shoelywed” Game. For this fun wedding game, both the Bride & Groom held one of their shoes and one of their partner’s shoes. They sat in chairs back to back, and the DJ read fun questions about the Bride and Groom (for example – “Who is the better driver?”). The couple then raised the shoe of the person who they felt was the “correct” answer. Laughter erupted when the Bride and Groom had disagreements!

Dessert

Dolce & Biscotti provided a beautiful wedding cake for dessert. The cake was frosted white and had fresh cascading flowers that matched the deep burgundy color palette.
